Medical certificates (MCs) issued through Doctor Anywhere teleconsultations are provided by fully licensed doctors registered with the Singapore Medical Council. Before issuing an MC, the doctor conducts a comprehensive assessment during the teleconsultation to determine if it is appropriate based on the patient’s condition. The process for issuing MCs via teleconsultation adheres to the same standards as in-person consultations to ensure the MC is valid and acceptable by employers and authorities.
The Medical Certificate (MC) includes the following details:
- The full name of the patient
- The issuing doctor’s name and medical registration number
- The date of the teleconsultation
- The recommended rest period, including the specific dates for which the patient should refrain from work
- The clinic’s name, address, and contact information (DA Clinic @ Ang Mo Kio)
MCs issued via teleconsultation on the Doctor Anywhere app meet the same clinical standards as those issued in person at a clinic or a hospital, and are recognised by employers and authorities in Singapore.
